This role is essential in supporting banquet and event operations by ensuring all ingredients and dishes are prepared to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is an early riser with a strong work ethic, a passion for food preparation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for banquet service, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning
- Assist in the preparation of hot and cold menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for banquet execution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations
- Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to meet production timelines for events
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef
