Leadership Opportunity – Managing Director Hospitality, Restaurants & Events

A leading Iraqi company specialized in hospitality, restaurant management, events, conferences, and large-scale catering operations is seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead its restaurants, central kitchens, events, conferences, and overall hospitality operations.

This senior executive role requires a strong leader with proven experience in managing large restaurant groups, central and branch kitchens, catering operations, event management teams, service quality, operational performance, and business growth within the hospitality sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the company’s overall operational, administrative, and business activities.

• Oversee the management and performance of multiple restaurants and hospitality units.

• Manage central kitchens, branch kitchens, production, preparation, and distribution operations.

• Supervise events, conferences, catering, and hospitality services to ensure excellent execution.

• Develop and implement operational plans, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Lead and develop large teams across restaurants, kitchens, events, and support functions.

• Coordinate with procurement, warehouses, HR, finance, marketing, quality, and customer service departments.

• Monitor operational results, service quality, customer experience, and cost efficiency.

• Identify opportunities for business development, expansion, and operational growth.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality, occupational safety, and service standards.

• Resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth business continuity.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in restaurants, hospitality, events, catering, or related operational sectors.

• At least 5 years of experience in a senior management or executive leadership role.

• Proven experience in managing restaurant groups, hospitality companies, or large-scale operations.

• Strong knowledge of central kitchens, branch kitchens, catering systems, and operational workflows.

• Experience in managing large events, conferences, and hospitality projects from planning to execution.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent understanding of service quality, customer experience, food safety, and operational excellence.

• Ability to prepare management reports, KPIs, and business performance updates.
