LODGE MANAGER (PREMIUM ECO-WELLNESS RESORT)
1. THE ROLE
Supported by a highly effective Sales & Marketing team in Hanoi, the Lodge Manager is fully focused on operational excellence at the property. You will orchestrate all aspects of the lodge to ensure a seamless, unparalleled guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of sustainability and financial performance.
2. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B. Ensure a refined, personalized guest journey that strictly adheres to "Eco-friendly" protocols.
- Financial Management & P&L: Oversee budgets, optimize revenue streams, and maintain full accountability for the property's P&L.
- Cost Optimization: Implement strategic solutions for remote supply chain management and energy efficiency within a challenging mountain terrain.
- Team Leadership & Motivation: Lead and nurture a motivated team, predominantly comprised of local ethnic minority staff. Foster an inclusive environment, inspiring a service-oriented culture through cultural empathy and respect.
- Facility & Risk Management: Supervise complex infrastructure in a high-altitude environment (biological wastewater treatment, floor heating systems). Maintain the ability to handle on-site technical emergencies during extreme weather conditions.
3. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Experience: Senior management experience in Hospitality, with a specific focus on Eco-tourism, Boutique Properties, or resorts located in remote/challenging environments.
- Financial Acumen: Strong expertise in P&L management with a proven track record of optimizing operational costs without compromising guest experience or the brand’s core values.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Exceptional communication skills in English. A high Adversity Quotient to navigate the unique challenges of a remote eco-lodge while leading a diverse, multicultural team.
- Mindset: A visionary leader who is passionate about sustainable tourism, culturally sensitive, and capable of balancing Luxury with Authenticity.
