POSITION INFO:
Set within a pioneering Big Five reserve in Zululand, this conservation-driven safari brand combines luxury guest experiences with a strong commitment to rewilding and community upliftment. They are looking for a hospitality professional who can confidently oversee daily operations while maintaining exceptional service standards, someone organised, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about both hospitality and conservation in a purpose-led environment.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily lodge operations across departments, ensuring smooth coordination and efficiency
- Maintain exceptional guest experiences through consistent service delivery and attention to detail
- Lead, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and high-performance team culture
- Manage budgets, stock control, and cost efficiencies across the property
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards while upholding brand expectations
Core Criteria:
- Must have management experience in a 5-star, luxury lodge setting
- Must be comfortable working in an unfenced, Big 5 environment
- Excellent guest engagement skills with a service-driven mindset
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
