Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Line Cook at the AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk in Overland Park, KS. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to recipes, ensuring food quality and presentation standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Additional tasks include managing food inventory, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and assisting with kitchen prep work as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to prepare and cook food according to recipes, maintain portion control, and ensure consistency
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards for food preparation and storage
- Experience in efficiently managing kitchen equipment and tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work in a team setting
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
