Lead Line Cook – San Diego, CA (Hourly | Part-Time | $21.50–$23.00/hr + Tip-Eligible)
Responsibilities
- Support and guide line cooks and dishwashers during service
- Execute menu items with consistency, quality, and urgency
- Ensure stations remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper product rotation (FIFO)
- Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team to maintain ticket times
- Assist with prep, inventory, opening/closing duties, and kitchen cleanliness
- Uphold all health, safety, and company standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of culinary or kitchen experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume restaurants, hotels, or events preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
