Compensation & Hours
Pay: $17.25–$18.75 per hour.
Hours:
Part‑time or Full‑time. The full‑time position averages 32–40 hours per week. First 90 days: $17.25 per hour; after 90 days: $18.75 per hour. A $2 per hour summer incentive bonus is awarded for regular time hours worked between May 22 and October 8 (conditions apply).
Location & Travel
Lake Louise, Alberta. Valid Canadian work permit required for international applicants. Work permit sponsorship is not available.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Outlet Manager, a Food & Beverage Host is responsible for seating guests and delivering food while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly upon arrival.
- Ensure all set‑ups are complete and correct.
- Explain menu specials and introduce servers.
- Maintain a professional and pleasant appearance.
- Serve beverages and food promptly.
- Clear and clean tables promptly.
- Perform other duties as required by the Restaurant Manager.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines.
- Maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness, safety, and security.
- Adhere to Guest Service Standards, hotel policies, and procedures.
- Complete daily and weekly checklists.
- Ensure proper disposal of garbage and recycling.
- Assist with other related duties as assigned by the Outlet Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Pro Serve Certificate.
- Energetic, hands‑on individual with initiative and integrity.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to work well under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift trays up to 30 lb.
- Ability to handle irate or intoxicated guests.
- Training for handling burglaries and thefts.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Deal with irate or intoxicated guests professionally.
- Be trained to respond to burglaries or thefts.
