Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD. The role is responsible for supporting the daily operations of one or more venues, ensuring a consistently high standard of guest experience and service. Key tasks may include coordinating with front-of-house and back-of-house teams, overseeing service delivery during trading hours, and assisting with staff scheduling and training. The role will also support venue marketing initiatives, help implement promotions or events, and maintain brand standards across all touchpoints. Collaboration with management to monitor performance, uphold safety and compliance requirements, and identify opportunities for operational improvements is a core part of the position.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality operations, ideally within restaurants, bars, nightlife, or lifestyle venues.
- Strong customer service and guest experience skills, with a focus on creating welcoming, inclusive environments.
- Proven ability to coordinate teams, communicate clearly, and work effectively with diverse colleagues and stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, service-driven setting.
- Familiarity with basic venue administration such as scheduling, reporting, and compliance is advantageous.
- Comfort with learning venue systems and technology, including POS and reservation platforms.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by hospitality operations.
- Previous experience in Brisbane’s hospitality scene and an understanding of local guests’ expectations are a plus.
