About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join Gandour's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the company's supply chain operations to ensure the seamless flow of materials, products, and information. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Supply Chain Coordinator will collaborate closely with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to coordinate activities, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Gandour’s operational excellence and growth objectives by implementing efficient supply chain strategies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles, preferably within the FMCG or confectionery industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and distribution logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop practical solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure the timely sourcing of raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations and initiate replenishment orders to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Collaborate with production teams to align supply chain activities with manufacturing schedules and demand forecasts.
- Manage logistics and distribution processes to ensure on-time delivery of finished products to customers and distribution centers.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and procurement transactions.
- Identify and resolve supply chain issues proactively to minimize disruptions and optimize operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain performance and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to negotiate terms and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance metrics and present findings to management for strategic planning.
