Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the Head Office, including office blocks, cabins, washrooms, and common areas. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff and chamber mates, managing cleaning schedules, maintaining trackers, and ensuring the proper use of cleaning machines and chemicals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations for the Head Office, office blocks, and common areas
  • Ensure cleanliness of offices, cabins, meeting rooms, washrooms, pantry, corridors, and common spaces
  • Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
  • Maintain cleaning trackers, checklists, and records for all assigned areas
  • Allocate duties and prepare duty rosters for housekeeping staff and chamber mates
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance of housekeeping staff
  • Ensure correct usage, handling, and storage of cleaning machines, tools, and chemicals
  • Train housekeeping staff on cleaning standards, safety procedures, and use of equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure hygiene and quality standards are met
  • Coordinate with administration and facility teams for requirements and issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company standards

Job Expectations

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations in corporate office environments
  • Hands-on experience with cleaning machines, equipment, and chemicals
  • Ability to plan schedules, maintain trackers, and manage rosters
  • Good team-handling and supervisory skills
  • Basic reporting and documentation skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Minimum Qualification

Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, machinery, and safety norms

  • Basic education (minimum 10th / 12th pass preferred)

Minimum Job Experience

Minimum 3–6 years of experience in housekeeping supervision (corporate office / commercial premises preferred)
