The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and presentation across all properties and facilities of The Hub Holding. This role ensures operational excellence, team discipline, compliance with internal policies, and exceptional service quality aligned with the organization’s brand and values.
Duties and Responsibilitie
s1. Operations & Quality Contro
- lSupervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across assigned sites
- .Ensure all areas (rooms, offices, common areas, back-of-house, and facilities) meet company cleanliness and safety standards
- .Conduct routine inspections and implement corrective actions when needed
- .Maintain detailed cleaning schedules and duty rosters
- .Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials
.2. Team Leadership & Supervisio
- nLead, train, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff
- .Assign daily tasks and monitor staff performance
- .Enforce attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct
- .Provide on-the-job training for new hires and existing team members
- .Handle minor disciplinary matters in coordination with HR
.3. Inventory & Cost Contro
- lMonitor and manage housekeeping supplies, chemicals, and equipment
- .Maintain accurate inventory records and request replenishments
- .Control wastage and ensure cost-efficient usage of resources
.4. Health, Safety & Complianc
- eEnsure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- .Train staff on proper chemical handling and safety procedures
- .Report hazards, incidents, and maintenance issues promptly
- .Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
.5. Coordination & Communicatio
- nCoordinate closely with Operations, Maintenance, HR, and Front Office/Customer Service teams
- .Ensure timely handover of rooms/areas to operational teams
- .Communicate guest/client requests and feedback to relevant departments
- .Support cross-departmental initiatives when required
.6. Reporting & Documentatio
- nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping reports
- .Track staff attendance, performance, and productivity
- .Document incidents, complaints, and corrective actions
