Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping operations at Joey's Hostel in Manali. The role involves supervising housekeeping activities, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met, and managing laundry operations. You will also train and guide the housekeeping staff, maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, and ensure rooms and common areas are guest-ready at all times. As a key point of contact, you will collaborate with guests to address their specific housekeeping needs and maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the hostel.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to manage and coordinate a team effectively.
- Proficiency in housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, organization, and hygiene standards.
- Experience in laundry management and ensuring quality care of fabrics and linen.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally and courteously with guests.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is highly preferred.
