Uniting Lindsay Gardens Hamilton has three separate households, each with between 15 and 34 residents, including a Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Our Uniting Homemaker ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.
What You’ll Be Doing In This Role
We are seeking a reliable worker to join our aged care facility on a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This role involves working in our catering team on Mondays to Wednesdays, with every second Thursday covering both AM and PM shifts. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a supportive environment, providing quality food services to our residents. For the right person, this role may lead to ongoing employment as a casual team member or potentially a permanent part-time position.
What We’re Looking For
- Ideally, you have a Certificate II in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in similar roles (catering, kitchenhand, or cleaning) or in community care is a plus.
- You’re empathetic, adaptable, resourceful, and align with Uniting’s core values of compassion, respect, boldness, and creativity.
