We are currently seeking a Groups & Events Coordinator to join our hotel team in Plainview, Long Island, NY.

This position is ideal for someone energetic, organized, detail oriented, and passionate about hospitality and guest service. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the hospitality industry and be part of a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to group and event inquiries in a timely manner

• Coordinate wedding blocks, corporate groups, and social events

• Assist with resumes, contracts, rooming lists, and event details

• Communicate with clients regarding event needs and hotel accommodations

• Coordinate internally with Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&B, and Sales teams

• Help generate new group and event business opportunities

• Maintain organized records and follow up on leads

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred

• Experience with groups, events, catering, or hotel sales is a plus

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Knowledge of hotel systems and Microsoft Office preferred

• Experience with Cvent or hotel sales platforms is a plus
