Job Description:
As the Head Waiter at Lion In The Sun Dubai, you will be at the forefront of our service team, responsible for delivering an impeccable dining experience that exceeds the expectations of our elite clientele. You will manage daily operations on the floor, oversee a team of waitstaff, and ensure that the highest standards of service are maintained at all times. Your leadership, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality will be key in creating a luxurious and memorable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with guests in a professional, courteous, and attentive manner, ensuring their needs are anticipated and met with precision.
- Maintain and enforce high standards of service, from the moment guests are seated until they depart, ensuring consistency in every interaction.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure seamless service, timely delivery of orders, and prompt resolution of any issues.
- Monitor the presentation and quality of dishes and beverages served, ensuring they meet Lion in The Sun’s high standards.
- Handle any guest complaints or issues with tact and professionalism, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing glassware, and resetting tables for the next service.
- Provide feedback and reports to the management team regarding guest feedback, staff performance, and any operational issues.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior waiter or head waiter role within a high-end, luxury restaurant or hotel.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with and anticipate the needs of high-profile guests.
- Meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of service, from table settings to guest interactions.
- Extensive knowledge of fine dining, international cuisine, and premium beverages.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
