Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Waiter, located in Zakynthos. As a Head Waiter, you will lead and oversee the food and beverage service to provide an exceptional guest dining experience. Daily responsibilities include supervising the waiting staff, managing table arrangements, ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes, addressing guest inquiries or concerns, and collaborating with kitchen staff to maintain seamless service. You will also ensure compliance with health and safety standards and support the team in delivering outstanding hospitality.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Customer Service and Communication to ensure excellent guest experience and teamwork
- Experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service, with knowledge of menu presentation and serving etiquette
- Basic knowledge of Cooking to better understand kitchen operations and coordinate effectively
- Leadership skills to manage and motivate service staff
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure environments
- Previous experience in a hospitality or fine dining environment preferred
- Proficiency in Greek and English; additional languages considered a plus
