Above Bistro is a wine concept restaurant in Imerovigli, offering creative Mediterranean cuisine in an intimate, high-end setting. We’re looking for a full-time Waiter/Waitress to join our team and deliver warm, detail-driven service that matches our food and wine experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional table service and create a welcoming guest experience from arrival to departure
- Manage daily flow in the dining area and support smooth service across all sections
- Present the menu confidently, make recommendations, and support wine experiences (pairings, storytelling, upselling where appropriate)
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure timing, accuracy, and quality of dishes and beverages
- Handle guest questions, special requests, and concerns professionally and promptly
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail throughout service
- Support private dining setups/venues when required, ensuring seamless execution
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven customer service skills with excellent interpersonal communication
- Solid experience in Food & Beverage / restaurant service (fine dining or wine-focused concepts is a strong plus)
- Strong verbal communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in cooking/food knowledge is a plus
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage
