Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Health Specialist, based in Abu Dhabi with flexibility for partial remote work. The Health Specialist will be responsible for promoting and managing health initiatives, providing expertise in occupational health and medicine, and engaging with individuals and communities to foster overall wellness. The role involves direct communication with stakeholders, addressing health-related inquiries, and supporting customer service operations. Additionally, the Health Specialist will design and implement health promotion programs tailored to the needs of the community and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Communication and Customer Service to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Occupational Health and expertise in Medicine to provide informed health recommendations
- Experience in Health Promotion, including planning and implementing wellness initiatives
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid role, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Medicine, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
- Knowledge of regional health policies and best practices is preferred
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an added asset
