Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kampala for Guest Arrival Experts, including Bellboys, Valet Parkers, and Doormen. Key responsibilities include welcoming and assisting guests with their luggage, providing valet parking services, and executing doorman duties. You will ensure smooth arrivals, offer directions and information about the property, assist with guest transportation needs, and deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to provide a welcoming and positive experience for all guests
- Experience with Receptionist Duties, including assisting guests with inquiries and directions
- Proficiency in managing Luggage services and ensuring careful handling
- Ability to undergo and implement Training to align with Marriott standards of excellence
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Punctuality, good physical fitness, and familiarity with safety protocols
- Prior experience in hospitality or a related role is an advantage
