Reservation Manager
Location: Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Reservation Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for leading the Reservations Department, ensuring efficient inventory management, optimizing conversion opportunities, and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the booking process.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with operational excellence and has a solid understanding of hotel distribution, revenue management principles, and reservation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Reservations team.
- Ensure accurate management of room inventory across all distribution channels.
- Monitor reservation trends, booking pace, and pickup to support commercial decision-making.
- Maintain rate and inventory integrity in the PMS, CRS, and OTA channels.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Front Office, and Distribution teams.
- Monitor reservation quality, conversion rates, response times, and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement reservation procedures and service standards.
- Prepare reports and analyze reservation performance, forecasting, and business trends.
- Support pre-opening activities, system setup, and process implementation when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel reservations, including leadership responsibilities.
- Experience with hotel PMS and CRS platforms (Opera Cloud experience is an advantage).
- Understanding of Revenue Management principles and hotel distribution.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
