Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Waitress/Server located in Rotterdam. The role involves providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, handling payments, and collaborating with kitchen staff to deliver high-quality service efficiently.
Qualifications
- Customer Service and Communication skills to engage effectively with guests and address their needs.
- Experience with Food & Beverage and Food Service operations to ensure efficient and accurate service.
- Basic Cooking knowledge is a plus to better understand menu items and assist with guest inquiries.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes, drinks, and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar
- Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly
- Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints when necessary
- Process payments (cash/card) and manage bills accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations
- Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service
