Event Crew – Gourmet Food Parlour (Galway)
Gourmet Food Parlour is expanding its catering division and we are seeking friendly, professional Event Crew to join our team in Galway. Please note: Applicants must be 23 years or older and hold a full, clean driver's license to be considered for this position (due to insurance requirements).
Role Overview: As part of our Event Crew, you will deliver high-quality food and catering services to various locations around Galway, serving corporate clients, elite sports teams, and private events. The role involves both drop-off and buffet services, including the setup, service, and breakdown of events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food to multiple locations throughout the day.
- Set up and serve buffet-style events, ensuring a polished presentation.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown across various nationwide locations.
- Load and unload catering equipment and food supplies according to a set schedule.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Gourmet Food Parlour with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Heavy lifting is required for equipment setup.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be 23 years or older (due to insurance requirements).
- Hold a full, clean driver's license.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or catering environment.
- Experience in food service.
- Fluent in English.
- Flexibility to work approx 30-40 hours a week, including weekends and bank holidays. Additional hours may be available
Desirable Qualifications:
- HACCP and Food Safety certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and hardworking attitude.

- Lifting and carrying catering equipment to and from venues.
- Setting up buffet equipment and tables onsite.
- Cleaning up and dismantling after events.
- Occasional stair climbing may be required depending on the venue.
