The position
For our Front of House team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Front of House Supervisor with excellent problem-solving skills. During your shift, you are the main point of contact for guests and employees and you ensure a smoothly running operation, including check-in and check-out of guests and the proper handling of complaints. You are responsible for training and coaching Front Office employees and directly manage the staff on duty.
The team of Supervisors consists of three employees; together with two others, you are responsible for administrative tasks such as creating schedules and conducting performance reviews. You report to the (Assistant) Front of House Manager. You will work in rotating shifts.
Who are you?
With your enthusiasm and passion for the profession, you know how to pass on your knowledge to your colleagues. In addition, you have a strong sense of responsibility and a true hands-on mentality! You are decisive, empathetic, and have experience with creative complaint handling. You also have an affinity with coaching and/or training. Finally, you see yourself in the following requirements:
- MBO working and thinking level, completed MHS education or similar;
- Relevant Front Office work experience in hospitality, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written;
- Good knowledge of Opera is a plus;
- You work rotating shifts between 07:00-23:00 and are also available on weekends.
