The Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Airport is seeking a dynamic Front Office Manager. Compensation is based on experience. The Front Office Manager ensures overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding guest expectations for service. The position is a PM, 3pm to 11pm on the front desk to deliver exceptional guest service.

Job Functions

  • Responsible for the overall guest service of the hotel by maintaining an organized and efficient front desk operation.
  • Prepare work schedules in accordance with forecasted occupancy.
  • Supervise day‑to‑day activities of front desk, bell, and van drivers’ staff.
  • Use leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction of direct reports.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations by ensuring the department provides outstanding customer service and teamwork.
  • Coordinate staffing and payroll to conform with productivity and budgetary standards; monitor actual vs. budget payroll activities.
  • Work side by side with front desk associates when necessary and cover manager on duty shifts on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinate front desk work with other departments: housekeeping, engineering, banquets, etc.
  • Participate in daily yield management meetings.
  • Ensure all employees follow safety rules and procedures and take corrective action when required.
  • Coordinate the collection and submission of hotel news to the quarterly AURO Hotels Associate newsletter.
  • Maintain proper front desk supplies inventory, conduct inventories as assigned, and recommend product purchases within budget.
  • Work closely with GM/AGM at all times and familiarize oneself with all aspects of the hotel in order to assist wherever required.
  • Comply with Company Standards of Service as outlined for AURO Hotels.
  • Project a favorable image of AURO Hotels to the public at all times.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives.
  • Treat guests, vendors, customers, and co‑workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
  • Complete departmental, AURO Hotels, and brand standards training as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
  • Be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience & Education

College degree in Hotel Administration; 2‑3 years hotel management/supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Education

Bachelor’s or better in Hospitality and Resort Management or related field.
