Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Corning, NY, for a Front of House Manager at Corning Country Club. The Front of House Manager will oversee daily operations of the dining and hospitality areas, ensuring a positive member and guest experience. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, providing leadership and training to team members, coordinating events and dining activities, addressing member and guest inquiries, and ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. The manager will also facilitate communication between staff and manage operational standards to uphold the club’s reputation for excellence. Wedding sales will also be part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with members, guests, and staff.
- Proficiency in Food & Beverage operations and knowledge of best practices for maintaining a high standard of service.
- Experience in team Training to onboard, develop, and monitor staff to ensure consistent service excellence.
- Sales skills to support the promotion of dining services, events, and member satisfaction initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a dynamic hospitality environment.
- Prior experience in a club, restaurant, or high-end hospitality environment is highly desirable.
