Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Johannesburg for a Front of House Manager. The Front of House Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage reservations, coordinate and supervise staff, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests. Additional responsibilities include addressing customer inquiries, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and managing the efficient flow of service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with guests and address their needs effectively.
- Hands-on Food & Beverage experience, including knowledge of menu offerings and maintaining service quality standards.
- Ability to train and supervise staff, fostering a cohesive and efficient team environment.
- Sales skills to promote offerings and maximize revenue opportunities where appropriate.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in hospitality or café management is highly desirable.
