The Front Office Agent is responsible for delivering excellent guest service by managing all front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate guest records and update systems accordingly.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash, billing, and payment transactions in line with hotel policies.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
