As a Food Service I at AHS, your responsibilities include basic food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness. You will package and portion food items, follow specific guidelines to prepare meals, and sanitize serving areas. This position allows you to contribute to patient care while working flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Package and portion food items for service
• Prepare meals according to AHS guidelines
• Serve meals to patients and customers
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and dining areas
• Support Nutrition Food Service team goals
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Capable of lifting up to 46 lbs (21 kg)
• Able to push/pull meal carts weighing up to 250 lbs
• Experience in customer service and food service preferred
• Food Safe Certificate or equivalent recommended
