Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Food Server role based at BOA-BAO in Lisbon. The Food Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, answering questions about dishes and beverages, and taking accurate orders. Day-to-day tasks include serving food and drinks, coordinating with the kitchen team, ensuring tables are properly set and clean, and handling payments in a timely, polite manner. The role also involves monitoring guest satisfaction, responding to special requests, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the dining area. The Food Server works closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service, efficient table turnover, and an overall positive guest experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with a friendly and professional attitude toward guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess Food & Beverage and Food Service skills, including familiarity with menu items, serving standards, and basic restaurant operations.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is beneficial.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of Portuguese and other languages is an advantage.
