The Limerick Strand Hotel is a muti-award winning 4*property located in the heart of the city. We are looking for a Food & Beverage Duty Manager to ensure quality service and standards while delivering a guest experience that is unique.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, room service).
  • Ensure service standards meet four-star expectations at all times.
  • Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene across all areas.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor during service periods.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate F&B staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings and allocate duties.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels for service demands.
  • Assist in managing budgets, costs, and stock control.
  • Monitor sales performance and upselling opportunities.
  • Handle cashing-up procedures and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Minimize waste and control labour costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene.
  • Ensure all licensing laws and hotel policies are followed.
  • Liaise with the events team to ensure smooth execution.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a management role within Food & Beverage, preferably in a four-star hotel.
  • Relevant hospitality qualification (desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and licensing laws.
