Role Description The Food and Beverage Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. This position oversees daily food and beverage operations, including coordinating front-of-house and back-of-house activities to ensure smooth service and consistent product quality. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, supervising service standards, monitoring inventory and procurement, and enforcing food safety and hygiene regulations. The manager will analyze sales and customer feedback, implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction, and support menu execution in alignment with the farm-to-table concept. The role also involves training and coaching team members, controlling operational costs, and collaborating with leadership on strategic initiatives and promotions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including workflow coordination and cost control.
- Candidates should possess Food Service and Food & Beverage knowledge, with a solid understanding of menu execution and food safety standards.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to handle feedback and maintain high service quality.
- Candidates should possess team leadership, staff training, and performance management capabilities.
- Relevant experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality food and beverage operations is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Cairo.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate clearly with diverse teams and guests.
- Formal education in hospitality management, business, or a related field is an advantage but equivalent experience is also valued.
