Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager – Local is a full-time, on-site role based at Hôtel KVL in Phnom Penh. This role oversees daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring high-quality service, product consistency, and an engaging guest experience. The manager leads and coaches the F&B team, supervises staff scheduling, and coordinates training to maintain service standards and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include managing menus and promotions in collaboration with culinary teams, monitoring inventory and procurement, and ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations. The role also involves budget oversight, cost control, revenue optimization, guest feedback management, and close collaboration with other hotel departments to support events, functions, and overall brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, including menu planning and service standards.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills with a track record of enhancing guest satisfaction and managing feedback.
  • Experience in Training and team development, including staff coaching, performance management, and skills enhancement.
  • Proficiency in Budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis to support profitability and revenue goals.
  • Previous experience in hotel or restaurant management, ideally in a premium or lifestyle hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and health and safety compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work on-site in Phnom Penh and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred.
