Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for leading and managing all Food & Beverage Service operations across The Leela Gandhinagar and the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre (MMCEC). The role oversees hotel restaurants, in-room dining, banquets, and large-scale convention and exhibition catering operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, revenue growth, and profitability while upholding The Leela's luxury service standards.
The incumbent should have prior experience leading F&B operations in a luxury hotel with a significant convention and exhibition centre, handling large-format events, state banquets, international conferences, exhibitions, and VIP protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead and manage the entire F&B Service department across all hotel outlets and MMCEC.
- Drive operational efficiency while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction.
Convention & Exhibition Operations
- Lead planning and execution of large-scale conventions, exhibitions, summits, G20-level events, government functions, weddings, and corporate conferences.
- Manage VIP movements and protocol requirements for dignitaries, government officials, and international delegates.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers, assistant managers, executives, supervisors, and associates.
- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with The Leela values.
Business Development
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to develop F&B promotions and banquet business.
- Support acquisition of high-profile conferences, weddings, and exhibitions.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and government agencies.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Hotel Management; postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- 10-12 years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality.
- Minimum 2 years in a Head of Department (F&B Manager or equivalent) role.
- Mandatory experience managing Food & Beverage operations in a luxury hotel.
- High-volume banquet operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing departmental budgets and profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience
