SUMMARY:
Luxury safari lodge in Limpopo is looking for a strong FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER
POSITION INFO:
This role calls for a dynamic and experienced hospitality professional to lead the full food and beverage operation within a high-end lodge environment. With a strong focus on guest experience, financial performance, and team leadership, the successful candidate will ensure that all F&B operations run efficiently, consistently, and in line with company standards. This position blends hands-on leadership with strong administrative and financial oversight, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and guest-focused environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Matric (further qualification in hospitality or related field advantageous)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and guest service abilities
- Proven experience in stock control, budgeting, and financial management
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Valid RSA ID and driver’s license
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
- Knowledge of hospitality systems such as Opera or Symphony advantageous
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all food and beverage operations
- Lead, recruit, train, and develop the F&B team
- Ensure service delivery meets high guest experience standards
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and stock control systems
- Establish and manage operational procedures, KPIs, and schedules
- Handle guest feedback and respond proactively to concerns
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Report on sales, productivity, and operational performance
- Assist in overall lodge operations and stand in for senior management when required
This is a Live-in position
