Role Description The Food and Beverage Executive will oversee day-to-day operations of the food and beverage services at Dolkhar, ensuring a high-quality, culturally rooted dining experience for guests. This full-time, on-site role in Ladakh, India includes managing restaurant and bar service, coordinating with kitchen teams, and maintaining service standards aligned with Dolkhar’s sustainability and community values. The role involves supervising staff, planning menus in collaboration with culinary professionals, monitoring inventory and sourcing, and implementing hygiene and safety protocols. The Food and Beverage Executive will handle guest interactions, address feedback, support special events and promotions, and work closely with management to optimize revenue and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Food & Beverage and Food Service skills, including menu understanding, service workflows, and basic cost awareness.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members in a hospitality environment.
  • Candidates should possess solid Culinary Skills or a good understanding of kitchen operations to collaborate with chefs on menu planning and quality control.
  • Prior experience in hotel or resort F&B operations, preferably in boutique or luxury settings, is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and sustainable sourcing practices is an advantage.
  • Ability to lead and train staff, work flexible hours, and perform effectively in an on-site, high-altitude, remote location.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience.
