Position Overview
BAGELS & CO. COLUMBUS is seeking a relationship-focused Field Marketing Manager to help grow awareness and utilization of the restaurant's catering program throughout the local community. This role is primarily responsible for engaging and nurturing opportunities generated through marketing, referrals, inbound inquiries, and partnerships while also identifying additional opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Follow up on catering inquiries and opportunities generated through marketing, digital channels, referrals, and community outreach.
· Build relationships with local businesses, schools, nonprofits, hospitals, offices, community organizations, and event planners.
· Coordinate catering tastings, sampling opportunities, and community events.
· Maintain regular communication with prospective and existing catering customers.
· Help ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to order fulfillment by coordinating with restaurant operations.
· Track outreach efforts, opportunities, customer feedback, and results.
· Identify local events, partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities that may support catering growth.
· Recommend new ideas and programs to increase catering awareness and repeat business.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
· Highly organized with excellent follow-up and attention to detail.
· Comfortable engaging with business and community leaders.
· Self-starter capable of managing priorities independently.
· Customer-service mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
· Experience in hospitality, catering, sales support, marketing, or community engagement preferred.
· Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and CRM or lead-tracking systems.
Hours: Approximately 6-10 hours/week and live in the Philadelphia area.
