The F&B Banqueting Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Banqueting Coordinator in the planning, setup, and execution of all events, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences. This role assists in overseeing daily banqueting operations, maintains high standards of service, hygiene, and presentation, and supports team performance on the floor. Working closely with the Coordinator, the Supervisor ensures event readiness, coordinates with operational teams, and contributes to a smooth and professional service that meets brand standards and guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of all banqueting and events
  • Ensure seamless handover of events from Sales to operational teams
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to deliver successful events
  • Ensure function rooms are set up correctly and prepared well in advance
  • Welcome and brief event hosts, ensuring all last-minute requests are handled efficiently
  • Coordinate closely with Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Engineering for event requirements
  • Conduct and support pre-service briefings and ensure team readiness and grooming standards
  • Assist in supervising and motivating event staff to deliver high service standards
  • Allocate duties effectively to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Coordinate external suppliers and ensure all requirements are delivered on time
  • Maintain and safeguard all banquet operating equipment
  • Maintain accurate records, function sheets, and event documentation
  • Drive guest satisfaction, ensuring all feedback and follow-ups are completed
  • Support billing, payments, and administrative processes in line with hotel standards
  • Identify upselling opportunities and support revenue generation initiatives
  • Act as a sales ambassador by identifying leads and supporting client engagement
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and continuously suggest improvements
  • Support the development and promotion of banqueting packages and experiences

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years’ experience in banqueting, events, or hospitality coordination
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage last-minute changes
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations and event setup
  • Familiarity with hotel systems, including Opera Cloud, and event coordination processes
  • Proactive, flexible, and solutions-driven mindset
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
