**Events Specialist (4-Month Contract) | $27-$32/hr**
We're seeking an organized and detail-oriented Events Specialist for a 4-month contract to support the planning and execution of corporate, community, employee, member, and business development events. In this role, you'll coordinate event logistics including venues, vendors, catering, registrations, communications, materials, and on-site event support while also providing administrative assistance with scheduling, presentations, expense tracking, and departmental documentation. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, project coordination, or administrative support, excels at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and possesses strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Occasional evening, weekend, and local travel may be required.
• 2-4 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, project coordination, logistics, or administrative support.
• Demonstrated ability to manage event details accurately while handling several priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented and service-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience supporting corporate, community, or special events from planning through execution.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail in coordinating vendors, materials, schedules, and expenses.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel locally when required.
