Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and organised Events Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of two flagship events:
- The ScamWISE Video Competition Awards Ceremony
- The ScamWISE National Culmination Event
You will be responsible for ensuring both events run seamlessly from planning to execution, coordinating multiple stakeholders while delivering an exceptional experience for guests and participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage end-to-end event logistics, timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate venues, vendors, audiovisual requirements and event production.
- Liaise with speakers, guests of honour, judges, sponsors and partners.
- Coordinate participant registration, invitations and communications.
- Manage event collateral, signage, certificates, prizes and giveaways.
- Recruit, brief and manage volunteers and event crew.
- Develop detailed run sheets, contingency plans and operational SOPs.
- Coordinate rehearsals and ensure smooth event execution on-site.
- Work closely with the Programmes, Marketing and Growth teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Conduct post-event evaluation and recommend improvements for future events.
Requirements
- Experience coordinating conferences, award ceremonies, large-scale events or educational programmes.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including government.
- Able to manage multiple moving parts under tight timelines.
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Experience with government, education or non-profit events is an advantage.
Contract
- Contract position until completion of the events
- Singapore-based
- Flexible work arrangement with increased on-site commitment closer to event dates
Success in this Role
By the end of the contract, you will have successfully delivered two national flagship events that are professionally executed, well attended and memorable for participants, while building systems and documentation that enable future ScamWISE events to be run even more efficiently.
