My client is looking for a warm, highly organised and proactive Events & Administration Coordinator to support the coordination and delivery of events, conferences, webinars and community initiatives across Australia.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who loves events, people, detail and purpose-led work. You’ll work closely with the Event Manager and wider team to help ensure every event is well organised, professionally delivered, and creates a positive experience for attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers and partners.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll support a broad range of event and administration activities, including:

  • Coordinating venues, travel, accommodation, stock, event materials and logistics.
  • Liaising with exhibitors, sponsors, partners, speakers and volunteers.
  • Managing event-related communications, reminders and follow-up.
  • Responding to attendees, ticketing and general administration enquiries.
  • Assisting with invoices, databases, records and event administration.
  • Supporting marketing activity, including event pages, social media content, posters and promotional materials.
  • Attending company events and conferences to assist with setup, pack down, attendee support, merchandise, exhibitors, speakers and live event operations.
  • The job will require travelling to events throughout Australia and New Zealand: Auckland and Christchurch.
  • Supporting webinars and online event activity as required.

About you

You’ll be organised, practical, friendly and calm under pressure. You enjoy keeping things moving, communicating clearly and making sure the details are covered.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in events, administration, operations, customer service or community coordination.
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence working remotely and managing your time independently.
  • Comfort using digital tools, email, social media and basic design platforms such as Canva.
  • A genuine interest in supporting meaningful, community-focused events.

Experience in events, education, disability, health, wellbeing, community services or purpose-led organisations would be highly regarded but is not essential.

  • Permanent part-time role
  • 20 hours per week
  • Fully remote
  • Melbourne/Victoria-based preferred
  • Monthly travel to events across Australia/NZ is required (one interstate or NZ-based event per month)
