ABOUT US

Phoenix is one of Australia's most awarded independent experience agencies, partnering with leading brands across Australia, APAC and beyond to design and deliver extraordinary experiences that create genuine human connection. From global conferences, incentive programs and exhibitions through to immersive brand activations, destination experiences and executive events, we bring strategy, creativity and flawless execution together under one roof.

Our difference is simple: people come first. We believe the best experiences are built by passionate people who care deeply about their clients, their teammates and the work they produce. We've built a culture where everyone is encouraged to stand up, speak up and contribute, because the best ideas come from teams who feel valued, trusted and empowered.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced event professional who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and is excited by the opportunity to deliver complex conferences, exhibitions, incentive programs and premium brand experiences for some of Australia's most recognised organisations. You'll be someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems, builds trusted client relationships and genuinely cares about delivering exceptional work.

In return, you'll join a supportive, ambitious team that celebrates success, invests in its people and believes flexibility, trust and work-life balance are essential to doing great work. We don't just create memorable experiences for our clients – we strive to create an exceptional experience for every member of our team.

ABOUT YOU

  • You're an exceptional organiser who thrives on managing multiple projects simultaneously without losing sight of the detail.
  • You approach every challenge with curiosity and confidence, finding practical solutions, thinking creatively and remaining calm under pressure.
  • You build trust quickly. Your authenticity, communication skills and emotional intelligence allow you to develop lasting relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues alike.
  • You're commercially minded, comfortable managing budgets, forecasting accurately and balancing client expectations with agency performance and profitability.
  • You take ownership. Whether leading a project, mentoring others or making difficult decisions, you're accountable, proactive and focused on delivering outstanding outcomes.
  • You're equally comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders as you are collaborating with your team to workshop ideas, welcoming feedback and continually refining your thinking.
  • You genuinely care about creating exceptional experiences – for clients, delegates and your teammates – and take pride in delivering work that exceeds expectations.
  • You're adaptable and enjoy variety. One week you might be producing a major conference, the next planning an executive incentive, exhibition or brand experience.
  • You're always looking to improve, embracing new ideas, technology and ways of working while investing in your own personal and professional growth.
  • Most importantly, you're a team player. You're generous with your knowledge, willing to roll up your sleeves when needed, celebrate the wins together and contribute positively to the culture that makes Phoenix a great place to work.
