Position Overview

The Event Coordinator is instrumental in creating engaging, high-quality experiences for our Franchise network while supporting the growth and visibility of our brands, Just Cust and Justice Haircare. This role is responsible for coordinating the annual Just Cuts Owners Conference, Gala Awards, quarterly Owner’s Meeting and Franchise Advisory Council (FAC), alongside supporting brand and retail activations. Reporting to the Head of Marketing this is a great opportunity to join a team of hardworking and enthusiastic marketers. This Hybrid role requires work three days a week in our Cronulla office.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management

  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of major network events including:
  • Owners Meetings
  • Annual Conference
  • Gala Awards
  • Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) meetings
  • Manage event logistics including venue sourcing, supplier coordination, travel, accommodation, and on-site execution
  • Develop and maintain event timelines, run sheets, and budgets
  • Liaise with Franchise Owners, internal teams, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery
  • Coordinate event content including agendas, presentations, and speaker management
  • Manage attendee communications, registrations, and post-event follow-up
  • Ensure all events reflect brand and deliver an exceptional experience

Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate FAC meetings across the Just Cuts™ network
  • Prepare agendas, reports, and presentations in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Act as a central liaison between Franchisees and the Just Cuts Academy
  • Track actions, insights, and follow-ups to support continuous network improvement

Activation and Marketing Support

  • Assist in executing marketing initiatives for Justice Haircare and Just Cuts
  • Support the planning and delivery of:
  • Brand activations (retail, in-Salon and new markets)
  • Local Area Marketing Grand Openings and ‘Getting to know us’ campaigns
  • Product launches across the Salon network and retail channels
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, and communications with internal and external stakeholders
  • Marketing support including capturing content, updating content on various platforms, where required
  • Work closely with the marketing team to drive awareness, engagement, and retail performance
  • Coordinate reports and campaign updates

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain project trackers, event documentation, and budgets
  • Coordinate supplier relationships and procurement processes
  • Assist with reporting on event outcomes and marketing initiatives
  • Provide general support across marketing and events as required

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in events, marketing, or a similar coordination role
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience in Franchise environments preferred
  • Experience with marketing platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience coordinating corporate events, conferences, or brand activations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing/event platforms i.e. Klaviyo
  • International and interstate travel required

Desirable

  • Experience in the hair, beauty, or retail industry
  • Experience working within a Franchise or multi-location business
  • Understanding of product marketing and retail campaigns
