We are looking for a full-time Event Coordinator. The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 depending on experience.
The right person for this position must live in Albuquerque and will be a remote employee for Lescombes Family Vineyards Headquarters in Deming, NM.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Event Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing Winery-approved events.
- Develops and maintains close working relationships with industry contacts and event organizers
- Ensures continued growth in promoting our brands at various events, festivals, and customer sites throughout New Mexico and some in the El Paso area
- Produces profit and loss reports per event along with a comprehensive festival report to include what worked and what did not work
- Schedules and seeks out festivals and events at which to showcase and sell our brands
- Ensures compliance with New Mexico Alcohol and Gaming Laws per event
- Submits all registration documents as required per scheduled event
- Attends and manages events and tastings in New Mexico (averaging 3 weekends per month)
- Organizes and keeps inventory of all festival supplies
- Keeps organized files of expenses, time sheets, permits, contacts, and sales for each event
- Hires and seeks licensed servers to staff events in accordance with New Mexico Labor laws
- Conducts all festival and event staff training and ensures staff document compliance
- Presents self professionally at all times as a representative of the winery
- Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Comply with all ASI and OSHA guidelines and feel comfortable ensuring other employees are following.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Ensures all servers being hired for festivals have required alcohol certification and sends those certifications to Human Resources for filing.
- Completes onboarding for festival employees, including orientation, ensuring employees acknowledge festival policies and completes employment authorization for employees (I9s).
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel)
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly in person and on the telephone
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must be a selfstarter and have a strong ability to multitask
- Must be willing to assist coworkers in any way possible, as required
- Must have a strong work ethic
- High school diploma or GED required; service industry experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours at a time
- Fit to travel extensively, as required
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must work nights and weekends, as required
