Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Our client is looking for a Tradeshow Coordinator to join their growing marketing team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is excited by the opportunity to support events across North America.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating tradeshows end-to-end, including booking, vendor management, shipping logistics, registration, and post-show follow-up. You’ll work closely with internal teams, including sales, to ensure seamless execution at each event while managing multiple timelines and priorities at once. This is a highly operational role that requires strong organization, communication, and a proactive mindset.

The ideal candidate brings some exposure to events, logistics, or project coordination (including internships or co-ops), along with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple moving pieces. You’re a team player who is willing to roll up your sleeves, communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, and take ownership of your work. Experience with tools like Excel or CRM systems is considered an asset.

This role is based fully in-office in Richmond Hill, with hybrid flexibility longer-term. Travel is a key component, with up to 10 tradeshows per year across Canada and the U.S., including occasional weekends.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, events, business, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in events, logistics, operations, or project coordination (internships/co-ops count)
  • Exposure to tradeshows, conferences, or industry events (even at a junior level)
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid communication skills with experience working cross-functionally (sales, vendors, internal teams)
  • Comfortable coordinating logistics end-to-end (booking, shipping, registration, timelines)
  • Basic technical skills (Excel, CRM exposure is an asset)
  • Energetic, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter who can take ownership and “run with things” while still collaborating with a team

Non-negotiables (must-haves to move forward)

  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple moving pieces at once
  • Strong communication skills (will be the key contact for booth logistics + work closely with sales)
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly (Canada + U.S., ~10 shows/year, including some weekends)
  • Comfortable working fully in-office in Richmond Hill (at least initially during probation)
  • Team player mentality with a “pitch in” attitude
  • Positive, go-getter mindset (energy and attitude are critical for the team fit)
  • Ability to manage deadlines and execute with accuracy in a logistics-heavy role
  • Comfortable working in a highly operational, detail-oriented environment
  • Willingness to be hands-on (shipping, setup coordination, vendor management, etc.)
  • Interest in long-term growth (potential to evolve into specialist/manager track)

What’s in it for you:

  • Opportunity to work in a collaborative, tight-knit team environment
  • Exposure to large-scale national and international tradeshows
  • Clear growth path into a leadership role, with the opportunity to manage a U.S.-based counterpart and act as a key liaison between teams
