Villa Rose Hotel & Spa is seeking an experienced and motivated Duty Manager with a strong Food & Beverage background to join our management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, leading teams, and maintaining the highest service standards.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel during assigned shifts.
- Support and lead the Food & Beverage team across restaurant, bar, banqueting, and events operations.
- Ensure excellent guest service standards are consistently delivered throughout the hotel.
- Manage guest queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Supervise, motivate, and develop team members across departments.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel operational procedures.
- Work closely with departmental managers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisory role within a hotel environment.
- Strong Food & Beverage operational experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A proven ability to lead teams and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems would be an advantage.
