F&B Director – Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Food & Beverage Director to lead and elevate all food and beverage operations across our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, maximizing profitability, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and compliance. This leadership role requires a hands-on professional with strong commercial acumen, exceptional people management skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the overall Food & Beverage strategy aligned with business objectives
- Drive revenue growth and profitability across all F&B outlets and services
- Identify market trends, guest preferences, and new opportunities to enhance competitiveness
- Collaborate with senior leadership on business planning, budgeting, and capital investment initiatives
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of restaurants, bars, banqueting, catering, room service, and other F&B outlets
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences and service standards.
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs, productivity metrics, and performance benchmarks.
- Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor revenues, costs, labor expenses, and inventory performance.
- Drive cost-control initiatives while maintaining product and service quality.
- Analyze financial results and implement corrective actions to achieve business targets.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop F&B supervisors and operational teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Support talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development programs.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Establish and monitor quality assurance procedures and operationalaudits.
- Manage risk and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
- Negotiate contracts and optimize procurement strategies.
- Work closely with culinary, operations, sales, marketing, and finance teams to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Culinary Management, or a related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience, including senior management responsibility.
- Proven experience managing multiple outlets in resorts, large teams, and significant operating budgets.
- Professional certifications in hospitality, food safety, or leadership are considered an advantage.
