An elite, high-volume culinary brand and premier catering group is seeking a visionary Director of Event Operations to spearhead its $15mil, and growing, operation. This group is renowned for crafting remarkable, customized guest experiences ranging from casual off-premise drop-offs to upscale sit-down galas. As they are experiencing unprecedented year-over-year growth, this role offers the opportunity to scale even further, and pave a clear path to future promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Guide and scale a high-volume catering operation; manage and mentor a team of 6 direct reports and 80+ field staff.
- Field Execution & QA: Maintain hands-on mastery over day-to-day F&B and service systems; personally direct execution at major, high-profile events.
- Financial Oversight: Manage comprehensive operational budgets across labor, supplies, fleet, and facilities to maximize profitability.
- Process Innovation: Standardize workflows, upgrade rental/equipment logistics, and leverage data-driven KPIs to report on operational success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Sales team to seamlessly transition Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) into flawless execution.
Requirements:
- Proven Scale: Extensive track record managing large-scale catering operations of $7M+ in revenue.
- Off-Premise Expertise: Deep experience managing complex off-premise logistics, from large drop-offs to upscale, full-service events.
- F&B Proficiency: 3+ years of Catering Operations management in high-volume settings, with strong structural knowledge of kitchen, bar, and cost controls.
- Credentials: Valid ServSafe certification and ability to pass a standard background check.
Compensation
- Base Salary of $100,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Uncapped Quarterly Bonus Potential
