Development Manager – South India (Bengaluru)
If you’ve ever wanted to be on the frontline of building hotels, this one’s for you.
In business for over two decades, jüSTa Hotels is India’s first “Art-led brand”, and we’re expanding rapidly.
With 43 hotels (operational and in the pipeline), we’re looking for someone to join us on this growth journey in the South of India.
This role is for someone who
* Is based in Bengaluru and speaks a South Indian language or languages
* Has 1+ years in hotel development
or comes from hotel operations and understands the business of hospitality.
* Is comfortable with numbers, financials, and Excel
* Is energetic and enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and opening conversations.
* Loves travel and has an instinct for “what works” in different locations. Because travel is also not for the faint-hearted.
A quick reality check
Hotel development isn’t a routine role. It’s unpredictable and not for everyone. It isn’t about instant gratification. The gestation period may be long from the time you connect until it comes to life, but when it does, it is exciting.
But if you enjoy the thrill of closing large value deals, creating opportunities, and eventually seeing a hotel you signed come to life, it’s incredibly rewarding.
