Our Kitchen team is seeking an experienced Full-Time Cook to join the team at Comfort Resort Leura Gardens!
The Role:
- Permanent Full-Time position
- 38 hours per week
- $75,000 – $80,000 per year

Reporting to the Head Chef, successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and present menu items showing variety and flair within the cost margins specified by the hotel
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained
- Prepare and ensure availability of mise-en-place as required
- Check that all cooked and pre-cooked foods are properly stored
- Order necessary foods according to proposed business demands. Consult with Head Chef for guidance and authorisation for order
- Liaise with Restaurant Manager regarding availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy, ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained. Report any problems to Head Chef
- Be familiar with other areas in the kitchen, assist and liaise with Chef on duty as required
