Position: Full-Time Cook & Catering Assistant Role
Join L’Arche Winnipeg Inc. as a Cook and Catering Assistant, where you’ll prepare meals and assist with catering services that foster inclusion among individuals with disabilities.
The position, starting May 5, 2026, requires a commitment of 35 hours per week over 16 weeks in a dynamic café environment. You will work closely with the Café Manager, focusing on cooking menu items, fulfilling catering orders, and maintaining high safety and sanitation standards. Your contributions will create meaningful relationships within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu items efficiently
• Assist in all aspects of catering services
• Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Communicate effectively with café co-workers
• Promote values of compassion and respect
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of cooking experience
• High School Diploma required
• Successful criminal record and health checks
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred
• Age eligibility of 15-30 years required
